Terms & Conditions

Specific Lot Descriptions:

We have made every effort to accurately describe all sales items, doing our best to list any/all defects. Please expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage and used items. We do our best to list all possible flaws and defects but cannot guarantee to list every flaw present. All items are sold AS IS, no refunds or returns of any type will be given. CT does not guarantee the working order of clocks, watches, electronic, or mechanical devices . Please read item descriptions in their entirety. Any dimensions given may be approximate. Wood types can be very tricky, but we do our best to accurately state the wood type. You are responsible for looking at photos closely.

 

Bidding Instructions:

By placing a bid you are agreeing to purchase the item(s), and also agreeing to our "Terms & Conditions". Bidding commits you to purchasing and picking up (or arranging shipping of) your winning item(s). Please DO NOT bid, if you do not plan to purchase, or do not agree with our "Terms & Conditions". Bidding privileges may be suspended if you default on this agreement .

All bidders must be at least 18 years of age.

Payments:

Payments for winning bids will be processed through PayPal, please wait for an invoice to be sent to you before your making payment. This will allow us to create one payment invoice for multiple items. Please do not generate your own invoice. We will provide your invoice at the auction's end. PayPal accepts all major credit cards and does not require the buyer to have/create an account. All items must be paid for and have payment cleared within 48 hours of sending your electronic invoice. Items must be paid for in full before pick-up or shipping. A 15% buyer’s premium and 7% Indiana sales tax will be added to each purchase. Please note out-of-state buyers are not required to pay Indiana sales tax AS LONG AS all items are shipped outside of Indiana, and billing address is NOT an Indiana address.

 

Non-Payment:

If payments are not received from you within 48 hours of sending your invoice, you forfeit your right to the items and you may be removed from the CT Online Auction Site. We understand and appreciate extenuating circumstances, but communication is KEY. If you are having issues please contact us via Email at IndianaCT.AuctionTeam@gmail.com . We will attempt to help you work through any issues you may be experiencing , to the best of our ability. Please note that it is your responsibility to read through and understand our policies as well as comply with them.

 

Paid Items & No Pick-Up:

Items that are successfully paid for but are NOT picked-up, or have not had pick-up arrangements made Prior to PICK-UP day will be considered abandoned and NO refund will be given. These items become property of Caring Transitions and may be resold, or donated.

 

Alternate Pick-Up:

If you need to make alternate pick-up arrangements, please email us at IndianaCT.AuctionTeam@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your invoice. Please note that we do allow buyers to send a proxy of their choice to participate in their place during the specified pick-up day (see pick-up instructions for further information). If you have a last-minute emergency, email us . Caring Transitions is under no obligation to meet any special requests, but we will do our absolute best to assist you as long as you communicate your needs with us. Remember communication is KEY.

Late Fees/Storage Fees:

All late pick-ups must be communicated with us within 48 hours of sending your invoice. Any late pick-up will incur the following fees : $10.00 for small items, and $20.00 for larger items (e.g. furniture, mattresses, ect). This fee helps cover the cost of storing your items and the extra effort it takes to make alternate arrangements. NO items will be held for more than 2 weeks from the original pick-up date. Late fees must be paid IN CASH at the time of pick-up. If the two-week window has passed or if you miss an alternate pick-up appointment, your items will be considered abandoned and no refund will be given.

Pick-Up Instructions:

Pick-Up address will be given to winning bidders only, and will be included with your payment invoice. Please note that each auction description will give a very general location to give bidders an idea of where pick-up will take place. All Items are to be picked up during our scheduled Pick-Up day hours, or on an alternate pick-up date that has been agreed upon by both parties**. Please also note that if necessary you may send a trusted proxy in their place. If you plan to send a Proxy in your place, please communicate that with us, prior to pick-up. We will request to see a photo ID from your Proxy to ensure safe transfer of your items.

We ask that you please bring enough help to pick-up and transport your purchased items. We will do our best to assist you but we cannot guarantee our move team will be present at that particular time.

Shipping:

Shipping is available; however please note that shipping furniture can be costly. If shipping is desired, please email us at IndianaCT.AuctionTeam@gmail.com PRIOR to auction close. We then will provide a quote from our local shipping center. If you as the buyer agree to the shipping cost, the shipping cost will be added to your invoice, given you win the bid.
