This lot is a Toshiba DVD Video Player and Cassette Recorder. The model is SD-V392SUA. Also included in the lot are oodles of VHS tapes with titles like Forrest Gump, The Fugitive, Titanic, Shrek, and more. The DVD player was turned on but not tested beyond that.

Note:  This pickup is by appointment only because of HOA rules regarding parking in this neighborhood.  We will send you a sign up email after the bidding is over!

** Winning bidders are responsible to pick up items and bring necessary equipment to move items. Please come prepared with moving equipment, tools, and vehicle large enough to transport your purchase. You are responsible for having the necessary labor to move and load the items. Due to insurance reasons, our staff cannot assist with lifting and loading.**

Payment: Your bid is a contract to pay for won items. You are responsible for honoring it.

The payment deadline for items you win is 6pm (EST) on Thursday, October 18th, 2018. If not paid by deadline we will resell your items and your bidding account will be suspended. Unpaid bills may be sent to collections.

Responsible Bidding

Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. Bidding privileges may be suspended if you default on this agreement. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage and used items.  We do not list every flaw.  All items are sold AS IS.  No refunds or returns. While we may plug in an item to see if it works at all, and say so in the description, we do not guarantee the continued working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate. We have tried to accurately describe this item(s), including noting its defects.

Please also note that our auction site is designed to replicate a live auction. If bids are placed near the closing time, extra time is added to allow all bidders a chance to win the item. If two bidders place an identical bid, the first to bid is awarded the item.

Property Condition

Despite best efforts to accurately describe property, it is likely that the buyer and seller may have a difference of opinion on the condition of a piece of property. It is the buyer’s responsibility to review the photos, research, and ask questions before bidding. All items are sold as is. In the case of obvious faults (chips, cracks, significant damage, etc.) we do our best to list the fault within the description. We will provide descriptions based on our assessment of an item. However, we do not assume that our assessment of condition will be the same as your assessment. Most of the items we sell are used, antique, or vintage. You should expect signs of wear consistent with age. We will not list every flaw associated with each item, and flaws are to be expected.

Auction Terms & Conditions

Bidders are responsible for understanding the following Terms & Conditions of this auction. 

1.   An invoice will be generated for auction winners shortly after the auction ends. 

Please wait for Caring Transitions to email you a copy of your invoice. The invoice will provide the purchase amount, the exact address for picking up your purchase, and the day(s) and hours of pick-up. If you win more than one item, your invoice generated after all items close will show all your purchases.

2.   Payment must be made using PayPal.

You do not need to be a PayPal member to make payments. You may enter a credit card/debit card number or log in to your account if you have one. Payment must be processed by the payment deadline: Thursday, October 18th, 2018 at 6pm Eastern. Please *do not* pay with an “eCheck”/checking account, as that method of payment can delay the processing of funds past the payment deadline.

3.   Additional charge will appear on your invoice. 

A 15% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the winning bid for auctions.

4.   Customers MUST pay for auctioned property by 6pm EST on Thursday, October 18th, 2018 unless other arrangements have been made. 

Customers who have not paid by that date/time forfeit any claim to the property and the property may be sold to another buyer. Exceptions to this rule will only be made if the customer has contacted us by phone before the payment deadline to make other arrangements which are agreeable to all parties.

5.   Customers must pick up items at the appointed time/location.

Property that has been paid for but is not picked up by the end of the pick-up period will be considered abandoned and subject to no refund. Exceptions to this rule will only be made if the customer has contacted us before the pick-up period ends to make other arrangements which are agreeable to all parties (see below).

6.   Bidders must be prepared lift, carry, and load purchases in their vehicle. 


You may need to bring your own boxes/totes, tools, straps, dollies, etc. Bring your help and friends; you will need to carry your items to your vehicle. Items may be on multiple floors of the home, so be prepared. For insurance reasons, the team at Caring Transitions is not authorized to assist in the moving, lifting, or loading of items.

7.   Everything is sold as is where is.

No warranties are given or implied. All sales are final. If you have questions about operational status or the item’s condition, send an email with your question prior to bidding.   


Please contact Sarah Stack at to see if shipping is available. No shipping on furniture.  You will be charged handling fee of $10 per lot plus actual shipping/postage charges in separate invoice.




Failure to pay for won items will result in items being resold and your name removed from our database.


If you pay, but fail to pick up your items, you will be charged a $25 fee to meet at a later date. If your items are not picked up by then, they will be considered abandoned, you will forfeit your right to the items, and no refund will be issued. **Exceptions to this rule will be made under the following conditions: if the Customer has contacted us via telephone or email before the end of Pick-Up day to inform us that the Customer can’t come for scheduled Pick-Up, or if the Customer has an acceptable and on-going agreement with us to pick-up their items at a later time.

If you have any issues paying for, or picking up, your items we strongly encourage you to communicate with us as soon as possible. Any items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned, you will forfeit your rights to the items and no refund will be issued.

If items are transported to a different location due to failure to pick up during the scheduled time, a $25 per lot transport/handling fee will be charged. Paid-for property transported to storage by us will be forfeited and subject to being resold if not picked up within 7 days.

If you experience an emergency or need to make alternate arrangements, please contact us. Caring Transitions is under no obligation to meet any special requests. All late fees will apply to any alternate pick-up arrangements.

Payment Details: Seller accepts PayPal payments Payment Details: Please wait for an invoice from Caring Transitions that will be emailed to you once the entire auction has closed. If you win multiple items, the invoice will have them all on one invoice. We require pre-payment through PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account, instead, you may pay as a guest with a credit/debit card when directed to the site to pay.
